SweetNight Mattress Reviews: Top 5 Buys (Discount Code)

If you’re considering buying one of SweetNight’s mattresses then you might be wondering which one is the best.

So I’ve gone to the trouble of reviewing and comparing each of the models available on SweetNight’s website.

Overall, SweetNight’s mattresses are a good buy if you’re looking to save money because they are decent quality and are well designed to accommodate front, back, side, combo, and edge sleepers – including couples.

However, some models are better than others for certain sleeping positions – especially in regards to sleeping cool and supporting sleepers over 230 lbs.

Check out my individual SweetNight mattress reviews below to find the mattress that’s best for you.

(And feel free to leave your experiences of sleeping on your SweetNight mattress in the comments section at the end of the article too).

1: Twilight Hybrid – Best Mattress Overall

SweetNight Twilight Mattress Review – Personally Tested (15% Discount Code)

I have picked out the Twilight as the best SweetNight mattress overall because I think that it has the right balance of qualities to appeal to most sleeping styles.

More specifically, this is a zoned ‘luxury firm’ mattress with a firmness rating of 6.5, a gel infused memory foam comfort layer, and a spring support core made from individually wrapped coils.

This means that the Twilight is firm enough to keep your hips naturally aligned in the front and back sleeping positions, whilst the memory foam provides the pressure relief that you’ll need in the side sleeping position to keep your hips and shoulders comfortable.

Furthermore, the zoned adaptive support core will support your spine and joints in any sleeping position to encourage better posture and guard against back pain.

The Layers of the SweetNight Twilight Mattress

Plus, the reinforced edges means that roll-off is less likely to be an issue if you’re the sort of edge sleeper that hugs the edge of the bed at night.

The Twilight is also suitable for couples because the individually wrapped coils and foam top layer are able to absorb the shock waves created by your bed partner moving around or sitting on the edge of the bed better than a spring mattress with a fused core typically can.

And although this mattress contains memory foam, the foam is designed to be breathable and works with the spring core to encourage airflow to help regulate your temperature and keep you cool.

If you’re allergic to dust mites or have sensitive skin then the hypoallergenic cover can help to guard against flare ups by resisting dust mite penetration and being kinder to your skin.

And finally, if you’re a combination sleeper then the support from the coils should bleed through just enough to give you the buoyancy that you’ll need to switch sleeping positions without getting bogged down in the materials.

Recommended For

  • Front sleepers.
  • Back sleepers.
  • Side sleepers.
  • Edge sleepers who hug the edge of the bed.
  • Combo sleepers who switch positions often.
  • Couples.
  • Sleepers with dust mite allergies and sensitive skin.

Considerations

  • Only available to buy in the US.

Additional Benefits

  • CertiPUR-US® certified – meaning that the mattress is free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, flame retardants, heavy metals, and is low in VOCs that can contribute to harmful off-gassing.
  • Uses high density support foam in conjunction with the tempered steel coils to resist sagging and increase the edge support.
  • Very low priced compared to other mattresses on the market with similar qualities that typically cost more than $1,000 for a queen.
  • Works with box spring, slatted, platform, adjustable, and hospital bed frames – as well as the floor.
  • 100 day return policy.
  • 10 year warranty.

2: Sunkiss Memory Foam – Best Flippable Mattress

Sunkiss Memory Foam Mattress.
Sunkiss Memory Foam Mattress (SweetNight.com)

If you’re looking for a softer mattress then the soft side of the dual-sided, all-foam, memory foam Sunkiss mattress might be ideal for you.

More specifically, the gel infused memory foam top layer works with the softer level of firmness to decrease the surface tension of the mattress and facilitate deeper compression of the memory foam to allow for excellent pressure relief in the side sleeping position.

And if you’re a stomach or back sleeper then you will likely enjoy the feel of the firmer side of the Sunkiss mattress.

However, it’s important to note that with this being an all-foam mattress, it’s NOT designed for sleepers over 230 lbs (go for the Twilight instead).

And combination sleepers will probably feel that moving around in the foam requires more effort when compared to the hybrid design of the Twilight.

Similarly, if you’re a warmer sleeper then the Twilight is a better option for you because the all-foam design of the Sunkiss isn’t as good at encouraging airflow.

But if you sleep as a couple then the Sunkiss might be the superior option because the total absence of springs means that the mattress is going to be near silent, and the foam will soak up shock waves and movement more completely so that you don’t wake each other up as you shuffle around during the night.

Recommended For

  • Side sleepers – soft side.
  • Front and back sleepers – firm side.
  • Sleepers UNDER 230 lbs.
  • Couples.

Considerations

  • Too much sinkage for sleepers over 230 lbs.
  • Combination sleepers may find it difficult to move around in the foam.
  • Edge sleepers may find the edge support lacking.
  • Only ships in the US.

Additional Benefits

  • CertiPUR-US® certified – meaning that the mattress is free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, flame retardants, heavy metals, and is low in VOCs that can contribute to harmful off-gassing.
  • Works with box spring, slatted, platform, adjustable, and hospital bed frames – as well as the floor.
  • 100 day return policy.
  • 10 year warranty.

3: Breeze – Best Cooling Memory Foam Mattress

The Breeze Mattress
The Breeze Mattress (SweetNight.com)

If you tend to sleep hot then I still think that the Twilight is the best cooling mattress because of the coil core that can help to encourage air-flow better than an all-foam mattress can.

But if you’re a lighter weighted side sleeper under 150 lbs that also sleeps warm then you’ll need a mattress with great pressure relief, deeper sinkage, and added cooling properties.

In which case the Breeze might be better for you than the Twilight.

Because the all-foam design with 3″ of memory foam in the upper comfort layer, 3.5″ of Air-flow comfort foam in the transition layer, and 5.5″ of high density support foam in the support layer combine to provide excellent pressure relief on your shoulders and allow for deeper sinkage to remove the compression forces on your joints – whilst also dissipating heat better than traditional memory foam to help keep you cool.

And whilst the Breeze is designed to hold sleepers over 230 lbs, I would express caution if you’re a strict stomach sleeper because the all-foam design and slightly softer firmness may not support your hips as well as the Twilight or even the firm side of the Sunkiss might.

Similarly, combo sleepers may find moving a round in this mattress more challenging.

However, the all-foam design will benefit compatible couples by absorbing shock waves and movement so that you can sleep undisturbed.

Recommended For

  • Side sleepers.
  • Lighter weighted sleepers under 150 lbs that require more sinkage.
  • Back sleepers who prefer a softer mattress.
  • Couples.

Considerations

  • Front sleepers may find that the mattress is too soft for their liking.
  • Combination sleepers may find it harder to move around in the foam.
  • Although the foam is engineered to be breathable, the Breeze is unlikely to sleep as cool as a hybrid bed like the Twilight.

4: Island – Best Hybrid Mattress For Couples

The Island Mattress.
The Island Mattress (SweetNight.com)

All-foam mattresses like the Sunkiss and the Breeze are the best types of mattresses for couples because the lack of springs means that noise and motion isolation is minimised.

But if you don’t like the feel of all-foam mattresses and sleep as a couple then the Island might be a better option for you.

Because the spring core leverages individually wrapped coils to dampen movement and shock waves better than the fused core of a regular spring mattress typically can.

And the luxury firm feel makes this a well rounded mattress suitable for front, back, side, edge, and combo sleepers – as well as for sleeping cool.

Recommended For

  • Couples.
  • Sleepers over 230 lbs.
  • Front, back, side, combo, and edge sleepers.
  • Warmer sleepers.

Considerations

  • Only available in the US.

5: Ocean Blue – Most Affordable

The Ocean Blue Mattress.
The Ocean Blue Mattress (SweetNight.com)

If keeping costs to a minimum is your priority, then the Ocean Blue is one of the most affordable mattresses that you can buy online – costing between 50% and 70% LESS than the price of a typical queen sized innerspring mattress.

The 8 inch profile, medium-firm feel, and gel-memory foam in the comfort layer makes this mattress best suited to front, back, and combo sleepers under 230 lbs.

This mattress also sleeps cool thanks to the coil core and ventilated design.

Recommended For

  • Sleepers on a budget.
  • Front, back, and combo sleepers up to 230 lbs.
  • Warmer sleepers looking to sleep cool.

Considerations

  • May be too firm for side sleepers.
  • Thinner profile makes it unsuitable for heavier weighted sleepers over 230 lbs.
